It might be time for some spring cleaning. . . . of your browser’s cache, that is. We’ve heard from several customers about difficulties placing online orders – from a slow cart, to only wholesale quantities showing up, to not being able to see the cart. If this is you – we have good news. You know, everything needs cleaned up sometimes and that includes your browser’s cache. If just hearing these words scares you because you think “I’m not tech savvy!” I have no idea what she’s talking about, we’ve got you covered. This is a normal thing to have to do in the wide world web. It takes less than a minute – for reals. And when I did it on my own computer – it worked. I was seeing the same things you have experienced when trying to place a test order. The steps are below. Just in case, make sure you have your log in and password recorded somewhere, especially if you rely on your computer’s memory to auto-populate those fields when you log into Yaylife.com
- Open “Preferences” in your browser. This is the toolbar along the top of your screen. I was using Safari, so it was in the drop down menu under “Safari”. If you are using a different browser, it won’t say “Safari”, it will say whatever browser you are using – Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox.
- When you click on “Preferences”, another window pops up and click on the tab that says “Privacy” and then click on “Manage Website Data”
- Enter Yaylife.com in the search box in the upper right hand corner and it should show up in the center box like you see here. Then click “Remove All” at the bottom.
- That’s it! Then the next time you return to Yaylife.com, make sure to refresh you page by clicking on the circular arrow to the right of the search bar.
