YAY! COLORADO! YAY! SISTERS! YAY! HIKING! YAY! MOUNTAINS! YAY! SUMMER!

A few weeks ago (I'm late in posting)  I took a day away from the office to enjoy some of the best things in life - Family and the outdoors.

My sister Patricia,  (who guest blogs for us sometimes) took me on a beautiful hike outside of Empire Colorado.

It was a gorgeous day and a gorgeous hike with several mountain streams to cross.  We've had record breaking heat this summer here in Denver, and it was so cool in the mountains I had to wear a jacket.  It was delicious.  Here are some of the gorgeous sights we got to take in.

A babbling mountain stream.  I could have sat here listening for hours.

And . . .  the view from the top.  It was worth my sore quads the next day.
